The primary focus of my research is an outgrowth of counseling experience with marginalized groups, families, and individuals who manifested psychological symptoms related to their diminished societal status. More recent research has focused on dance therapy as a means of intervention within these groups, families, and individuals. Current research focuses on changes of consciousness induced through movement and dance as an intervention addressing social injustice at the individual and societal level.
